Comfortable Challengers week to all who have a good time!

Luca Guadagnino’s (Bones and All, Name Me By Your Title) newest movie has garnered heaps of essential reward, with Mashable Leisure Editor Kristy Puchko declaring in her overview it’s “certainly one of 2024’s greatest.” So naturally, the much-anticipated movie’s ultimate trailer highlights all that hype — in addition to its three main performances from Zendaya (Dune: Half Two), Josh O’Connor (La Chimera), and Mike Faist (West Facet Story).

Zendaya stars as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy taken out of fee by a devastating harm. Now, she coaches her husband Artwork Donaldson (Faist) as he prepares for the US Open. The one downside? He is in the midst of a humiliating dropping streak, and must regain his confidence. A visit to a lower-level Challengers event could possibly be simply what he wants — till his ex-best good friend (and Tashi’s ex-boyfriend) Patrick Zweig (O’Connor) steps foot on the courtroom. Tensions swirl between the trio because the movie strikes backwards and forwards by way of time, making for a no-hold-barred volley of tennis and intimacy.

As Puchko writes in her overview, it should “depart you breathless.”
