Full disclosure: noob right here.
I’ve a desktop constructed on a Gigabyte B460 Aorus Professional AC MB.
The system has a RAID 1 array for the OS and people drives have to be changed as they’re too small.
I need to use the Intel Speedy Storage Know-how app to rebuild the drive, however I can’t set up the IRST utility.
1. I imagine the BIOS setup is right: operating in SATA Mode
2. The IRST app is just not current within the App menu.
3. BIOS reveals the Intel RAID driver put in:
3. System Supervisor doesn’t present IRST put in:
4. I’ve tried to load the IRST Driver 18.7.0.1002. The .exe file begins operating, then a window with (I assume) a digital drive F: seems, then it disappears, then the dialog window states set up is full. The app does NOT seem after rebooting.
5. This is a shot of my Intel storage display screen dashboard.
Any ideas on putting in the IRST utility or on the overarching query of the best way to change OS drives in a RAID 1 array?
Thanks upfront in your persistence.
