I’ve had a RAID 1 array of two 3TB disks for years with out difficulty,
Often the Quantity degraded so up to now it was efficiently rebuilt by merely clicking “Rebuild to a different Disk”.

The degradation has occurred once more and once we “Suppress SMART occasion” it invariable fails with “An unknown error occurred wile an operation was in progress. The operation couldn’t be accomplished” and once we sometimes get previous that and “Rebuild to a different disk” we’ll get the identical error message.

The disk to which we’re rebuilding checks OK with Crystal Disk Data and has been wiped and reformatted in one other Win 10 PC.

We put the disk on one other port on the MB to rule out a failing port.

We have modified the SATA cable to rule out a defective cable.
